Mechatronic

Bachelor Degree at Mechatronic Engineering

Welcome To Mechatronic Program

Mechatronics is a multidisciplinary field of engineering that includes a combination of mechanical engineering, robotics, electronics, computer engineering, telecommunications engineering, systems engineering and control engineering. As technology advances, the subfields of engineering multiply and adapt. Mechatronics aim is a design process that unifies these subfields. Originally, mechatronics just included the combination of mechanics and electronics, therefore the word is a combination of mechanics and electronics; however, as technical systems have become more and more complex the definition has been broadened to include more technical areas.

Mechatronic Applications and Job Overview

Mechatronic engineers work in companies that require hi-tech input into what they are developing. They may work in a laboratory, a processing plant or an engineering office but are also research opportunities in emerging fields like bioengineering, nanotechnology and robotics. They also work in all aspects of the development of the smart machine – from design and testing right through to manufacture. This could be in industries like medical and assistive technology, human-machine interaction, manufacturing, unmanned aerial and ground vehicles and education.
